Overcoming Learning Difficulties: An Exploration of Assessment and Coping Mechanisms

author:

Edited by Hung Li-yu, Wang Chiung-chu, and Chen Chang-yi

Book Introduction:

Improving students' overall quality has become a common educational goal for countries around the world. Some countries express it positively, such as Taiwan's "Teaching Every Student Well" and the UK's "Excellence in Schools." However, some countries directly address the problem with negative expressions, such as the US's "No Child Left Behind." This book is a collection of academic works by a group of scholars who, in order to continue Professor Chiu Shang-Chen of National Kaohsiung Normal University's long-term dedication to researching learning difficulties, explore the topic of overcoming learning difficulties. With assessment and intervention as the main focus, the book delves into various academic issues related to facing and overcoming learning difficulties.
